American Dental Coders Association - Job Board

On-line Dental Billing and Coding Instructor(s)
Education: Expert level
                1. Must have a bachelor’s degree or 10 years experience in the dental field.
            2. CDC or CDC-S Required
                3. CPC or CCS-P a plus but not necessary
Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:
               1. Answer student questions, comments, and concerns
               2. Post weekly assignments
               3. Grade weekly assignments and give students constructive feedback
               4. Instruct students on how to navigate the online learning environment 
Specific Job Skills:
Able to communicate well with others and take direction from superiors. Must have at least five years in dental billing and coding as well as a good understanding of medical coding and billing guidelines. Ideal candidate is dually certified as CDC (Certified Dental Coder) and CPC (Certified Professional Coder).
Computer Skills:
Must be computer literate (i.e. working knowledge of Microsoft word), must be familiar with chat rooms.
