CEU Center

Welcome to the CEU Center…

Continuing Education Units  also known as a CEU will be required for all Certified individuals.  If you hold the CDC or CDC-S credential you will be required to maintain 12 CEU’s per year. 

In this economy cost is always a concern that is why we have created several ways in which CEU’s may be obtained.  All you have to do is decide which option is best for your financial situation. 

Option One: FREE

  1. Earn 1 CEU for every coding scenario you create.  These coding sceanrio’s MUST be dental in nature and come from either the CDT, ICD-9-CM or CPT coding books
  2. Earn 6 CEU’s by writing a 1500 word researched articel on any dental coding and billing topic
  3. Earn 12 CEU’s if you are an instructor for a dental coding / billing course through a Post Secondary Education facility simply submit your course syllabus for approval.
  4. Earn 12 CEU’s if you teach a dental education peice for your employer or dental school and submit your course for CEU approval.
  5. Earn 12 CEU’s by createing a CEU course for ADCA members e-mail support for guidelines.

Option Two: Low  or Minimal Cost

  1. ADCA: Take any CEU course offered by the ADCA . Adverage Cost $10 per CEU
  2. BC Advantage: We will accept any CEU course offered by the BC Advantage.

Your 12 CEU’s will be due once a year in the Month you became certified. 

Example: If you became certified in May of 2010 your CEU’s would be due May 31, 2011.
