Certified Dental Coder Apprentice (CDC-A™) Examination Guidelines

To qualify for the CDC-A™ Exam you will be required to have the following :

• Current ADCA Membership in good standing
• Successfully completed the 8 week online course or other approved dental coding course

CDC-A Examination Fee: $129.00

Certified Dental Coder (CDC™) Examination Guidelines

To qualify for the CDC™ Exam you will be required to have the following :

• Current ADCA Membership in good standing
• High School Diploma or Equalivent
• Proof of two years experience in dental billing and coding

CDC Examination Fee: $129.00

Certified Dental Coder- Specialist (CDC-S™) Examination Guidelines

To qualify for the CDC-S™ Exam you will be required to have the following :

• Current ADCA Membership in good standing
• High School Diploma or Equalivent
• Proof of five years experience in dental billing and coding
• Have held the CDC for a minimum of two years

CDC-S Examination Fee: $189.00

Certified Dental Practice Auditor (CDPA™) Examination Guidelines

To qualify for the CDPA™ Exam you will be required to have the following :

• Current ADCA Membership in good standing
• Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following feilds of study (Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Human Resource Management)
• Proof of five years experience in chart auditing

CDPA Examination Fee: $229.00
