Thanks for all of the replies. My mother was a big believer in Sensodyne. I've only used it one time myself. I usually use Crest. The only other brand I've used more than once is Colgate. I've pretty much sworn by Crest, but I may have to start checking out Sensodyne.

I like to buy and try different brands of toothpaste. Basically I still prefer those common brands with regular minty flavour. But I do find children's toothpaste smells and tastes great, with lots of flavours such as fruity and bubblegum. I do not know what type of toothpaste dentists use and they never recommend me any. I have not tried Sensodyne, perhaps I'll purchase one since some of you are using it.

Sensodyne is really good tooth paste. I have been using it and in my family it has been in the use. It has happened sometimes that some member of my family has brought a different brand of paste. But after using them once or twice they have decided to shift to the Sensodyne. This paste has a positive role to serve the purpose of the teeth.

Since this is a dental-related forum, I was just curious what your favorite toothpaste is? Do you think the dentist really knows or believes one brand is better than another? Do you switch brands or stick with the same ones?
