Private answer Agree with prior post, dentist do not usually charge a lab fee. BE careful charging more than the allowed amount on contracted plans and covered services; that is a compliance no no. Marked as spam

Private answer Hello! Typically, dentists do not charge an additional lab fee for a porcelain crown. I have seen dentists charge an additional lab fee on top of the D2740 for certain insurances and fee schedules if the insurance pays a low reimbursement, but most dentists do not charge an additional lab fee for D2740. It's really up to the provider. Marked as spam
