| ♥ 0 | Is perio maintenance covered (4910) on a patient that has elevated probing depths, but has maintained good oral health, and does not have an SRP on record? SRP isn’t currently needed but in reality, this is a 4910 not a 1110 code.

Private answer I would recommend submitting a pre-auth with all periodontal charting, clinical notes, and x-rays attached. It depends on the insurance and the patient's benefits. Typically, D4910 is not covered if there is no history of SCRP, but if the Provider diagnoses that the cleaning is D4910 and not D1110, there is a possibility insurance could cover with proper documentation, but I would submit a pre-auth just to be sure Marked as spam
