Cross code for D0330 panoramic radiograph image is 70355
Depending on the documentation provided in the patients chart and if the patient is new or existing code range will differ.
New patient 99202-99205
Established 99212-99215

On page 6-7 of the CPT coding manual the guidelines for assigning correct examination codes and levels are laid out. This is the best way to determine the appropriate cross code for a dental examination as medical examination codes are more complicated and have many more factors to consider when assigning the code.
