You have a patient that is in following planned treatment for operative. Patient had tooth #30 extracted 2 months prior to this visit. When the patient is in for operative a none spicule was removed from #30 extraction site. What code should be used to code the removal of the bone spicule with the operative that was done this day. There is no notation that the patient was expieriencing any type of pain.

What would be an appropriate CDT code for an Itero intral oral scan

We no longer take impressions or diagnostic casts. Is there a CDT code that would cover the intraloral scan with our Itero when we are preparing a treatment/case work up for an Invisalign consult? Can we still bill out D0470 or do we use D0393?

When modifying an existing denture to accommodate implants after implant surgery, we use code D5875. Our question however, is whether we should bill separately for the housing assembly portion that is imbedded in the retrofitted denture? It seems like in this case we should bill for the D5875 as well as D5862 (mini implants) or D6062 (full size implants)to cover the cost of the housings. Need your help. Thanks.
